Welcome to Cadence Tutorials by Dr. Rishi Todani.

Hi, this is Rishi Todani and I write to make life easier in VLSI design. After obtaining my BE in Electronics Engineering from Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai University in 2008, I joined M.Tech course in Microelectronics and VLSI at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur. Analog VLSI Design is my key research area.

During the course I got exposure to VLSI design tool like Virtuoso, by Cadence Design Systems. Cadence tools are the most widely used tools for Analog Design. During my project, I faced innumerable difficulties managing tutorials. No site seemed to deal with a wide variety of issues. This inspired me to build up this website.

Alongside the project I enrolled in Ph. D. Program at NIT Durgapur and obtained my degree in 2017. During this, tape-out of two chips using UMC 180 nm CMOS technology was carried out. Am presently working at NIT Durgapur as Temporary Lecturer under SMDP C2SD project by Govt. Of India. My primary area of interest is analog and mixed signal design.
